Pooch pains Windham dog pound comes under fire at hearing
I cannot take credit for this story. It’s by my colleague Louisa Owen Sonstroem and she did a fantastic job. I’ve read this story over 10 times and I really hope you read it. You don’t have to be an animal lover and you don’t have to know anything that’s happened in the past.
It’s not a feature per say, but it certainly puts the reader in the hearing. You get the quotes and the voices coming, just like if you were at the hearing.

This is good, she is very efficient with her words.
She’s amazing. I wish we had enough staff to be able to let her do more longreads like that. She really has the talent for it.
